Rome has a wonderful collection of places that are wonderful places to stop off during your city tours. From Piazza del Quirinale, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Rome and St. Peter, while the Piazza Venezia is dominated by the "typewriter", as is often observed the huge monument to King Vittorio Emanuele II (Victoria). Piazza Barberini houses the beautiful Fontana del Tritone. Via Veneto is the heart of Rome, in the'50s and'60s, when Anita Ekberg was the symbol of the Dolce Vita atmosphere, the air Fellinian now gone, but claim there are still some fashion. In stark contrast to the frivolity of the past, is the austere church of Santa Maria della Conception with rococo decoration and a cemetery where the remains are preserved 4000 monks, used to decorate the walls of several underground chapels. Campo de 'Fiori square is a charming, busy every morning (except Sunday) from a colorful flower market and fruits and vegetables. Beside the square is the magnificent Renaissance Palazzo Farnese.
